OnePlus 5T unboxing video leaks ahead of official announcement

Today, we have a 5-minute unboxing video that compares OnePlus 5 with the OnePlus. 5T. The video was uploaded to YouTube by a vlogger but has since been pulled since any information, articles, and videos about the OnePlus 5T are under embargo.

Here is the link to the video

The good news (or bad for OnePlus) is someone else uploaded the video somewhere else and it’s unlikely that it will be pulled anytime soon.

The OnePlus 5t is rumoured to run Android 7.0 and be powered by a 3450mAh non removable battery. It is said to measure 157.00 x 75.40 x 7.25 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 164.00 grams.

The one major difference between the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5t is the display and the location of the fingerprint sensor. Since the OnePlus 5t comes with a bezel-less screen with 18:9 aspect ratio, the phone doesn’t include a home button anymore, so the fingerprint sensor was moved on the back side.

About OnePlus
OnePlus is a Shenzhen-based start-up and producer of smartphones founded in December, 2013. The company’s claim to fame is its bid to offer flagship-level specs in its smartphones, at affordable prices. OnePlus initially sold its smartphones only through an invite system where customers would be sent an invite to purchase smartphones and they had to make the purchase within a fixed time frame. Of late the company has held open sales of its smartphones too.
